S. had his first trip to the beach with Abuelita, he wanted to dive right in- loved every second of it! We even had a close encounter with sharks, yikes! I'm not used to being able to have such a fast shutter speed, its been so dark and gloomy in NY since starting this project- I love it down here!

S. and I are visiting family in FL, I messed up and didn't get a picture today. I will be posting the photos from our adventure on Tuesday when we are home again...

S. is eight months old today! To celebrate we put on his new kicks from daddy! Time is going by so quickly, and I'm so torn about it. I always want it to fly by so J. will be home with us, but at the same time I want to hit pause and keep S. this age forever. I feel so blessed everyday.

I forgot to add yesterdays photo when I added all the others from the past week so here it is. We went over to friends for a movie night...

 Here is today, Sunday, and it was Sam's first wedge of an apple. He wasn't so sure about it. I'm trying to get better with the black & white. Do you think this is too dark?

We're Back! After a wonderful trip to meet Nana, Uncle Joey, Aunt Joy, and Anthony- Sam was exhausted!

We are missing everybody but glad to be back in our daily routines. Here is a brief look at what Sam was up to...

One of my personal goals is to become more comfortable with using my camera in public. Today we took a trip to Walmart to pick up some last minute things for Daddy's Valentine's Day package (yes, it's true J- there is a killer package on its way to you!) so I took some pictures... I only got a few strange looks.

This is day one of my project 365...

Sam's Daddy is away on a deployment for a good part of this new year. I can't think of a better way for me to try and include him in our everyday lives than 365 and this blog. (As an added bonus my photography is bound to improve!) Hopefully I will be able to capture some wonderful moments to share with him, and at the very least he will get to see an image of Sam everyday. Today he was helping with the laundry for the first time...
